Lights buzz, but my head stays dim,
I lost the fight with sleep again.
Worn-out bones and a vacant stare,
Breathing in a static air.
I’m running on fumes, I know it, I feel it,
Hands shake, heart breaks, but I just conceal it.
Crash—get up—repeat,
I burn out just to feel relief.
Close my eyes, but I never sleep,
Just another night lost in the deep.
Too tired to dream, too awake to fall,
Every thought's just a wrecking ball.
I count the cracks in the ceiling light,
Like I could find meaning in sleepless nights.
I’m stuck in a loop, I break it, replace it,
Numb to the pain, but I still embrace it.
Crash—get up—repeat,
I burn out just to feel relief.
Close my eyes, but I never sleep,
Just another night lost in the deep.
"You should rest, you should sleep…" (whispered)
"But I only crash and repeat."
Crash—get up—repeat,
I burn out just to feel relief.
Close my eyes, but I never sleep,
Just another night lost in the deep.
Lights buzz, but my head stays dim
