I opened the door to a room of pain

Curiosity burned like acid rain

The truth hit hard like a freight train

Now I can’t unsee the stain

Eyes wide open but wishing them closed

Chased shadows that shouldn’t be exposed

A Pandora’s box that I shouldn’t have chose

Now I’m haunted by what I now know

The mirror cracks with what I’ve found

A silent scream it makes no sound

In my mind guilt circles around

Pulling me deeper underground

Some doors aren’t meant to be unlocked

Some whispers are better off blocked

Should’ve left that urge to snoop docked
