As things should be

As the end of time

Begins to slowly unwind

And I sit here with all my thoughts

Remembering all the things

I love

Sitting by a creek

Listening to the water

Trickle upon the rocks

With the birds in the trees

Its like they are singing to me

Really couldn't be more at ease

Then there sitting on the porch

Just talking cars and sports

With some treats just a grilling

Truly say I love

Thinking about my job

Its not really work

When your there with those you enjoy

Its more like hanging out with friend

And doing cool things

Getting paid at the end of the day

And there's the girl you love

Makes the world seem so complete

She's always got you back

Keeps the world on track

Gets up every morning

Its your lunch she packs

Never asked cause she does

it out of love

So as time ticks down

All alone I have found

Things have been darn good

Very things turned out as it should.
