When Jesus taught upon the hill,  
He spoke of hearts, that seek God’s will.  
The poor in spirit, he proclaimed,  
Will share the Kingdom in his name. 

Come gather near, and hear my voice,  
The words of life, that make hearts rejoice.  
They’re written still, for all to see,  
God’s truth preserved, for you and me. 

Happy the hearts that humbly mourn,
For comfort’s light, through grief is born.
The meek shall walk on earth in peace,
Their joy and blessings, never cease.
