My refuge, He is

He is my fortress

My God, He is

In him do I trust

I am not afraid of the terror by night

Nor of the arrow flies by day

Nor of the pestilence walks in darkness

Nor of the destruction wastes at noonday

A thousand shall fall at the side of thine

Ten thousand at the right hand of thine

Only thou shalt behold and see

The reward of the wicked with the eyes of thine

Inasmuch as I have made the Lord my habitation

the Lord, my refuge, even the Most High

Never any evil befalls me

Neither any plague come near my dwelling

So does God say; indeed, He does say:

For He has set his love upon Me

Therefore will I deliver him

For He has known My name

On high, will I set him

So does God say; indeed, He does say:

He shall call on Me; I will answer him

In trouble, I will be with him

I will deliver him

I will honour him

So does God say; indeed, He does say:

With long life, will I satisfy him

My salvation, will I show him
