Chorus 1
Human beings, changing the ways of the Holy God, believing themselves superior to Him seeking control with avarice, greed and ignorance, commit an error that, for centuries upon centuries, ends in the worst, and as punishment they go to purgatory to purify their souls for their sins
Verse 2: Light of the World, the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, the Unification Church, and a long etcetera
Would we have to make a three-hour video just to know the names of them all?
If we look at history honestly a pattern appears
Clearly, a Christian community.
Then someone disagrees with something, and that process repeats itself time and again throughout the centuries, but there is a question that cannot be avoided: if each Church is born because someone decided to separate from another
then which one existed before all of them? For centuries, there was only one organized Christian church that preached the Gospel, celebrated the sacraments and preserved tradition
The Apostolic Church is the Catholic Church
It is the Church founded by Jesus Christ in person all other Christian communities, in one way or another arose from later separations
Many retain elements that were already present in the Bible, the teachings of Christ and much of the tradition
Doctrinally, if one church was founded directly and all others appeared centuries later then it is considered bad
Chorus 2
Human beings, changing the ways of Holy God, believing themselves superior to Him seeking control with avarice greed and ignorance commit an error that for centuries upon centuries ends in the worst and as punishment they go to purgatory to purify their souls for their sins
Bridge
So, historically, only one can claim and that statement is uncomfortable but it also invites reflection. Who, as Holy God the Father Almighty has His great holy will?
