Tears from the Sky

A tear from the sky, falling, divine

Whisper of mercy, crossing the line

A soldier's gaze, in the shadow's glow

Silent witness to the greatest show

Pierced side, water flowing clear, no blood in sight

A miracle in the midst of night

He hung there, suspended in the air

For sins we couldn't bear

Angels crying, descending in grace

Heaven's tears upon his face

In the silence, the earth did quake

New hopes born from the make

Hallelujah, the stone rolled away

He rose in power on that day

From the tomb to the throne on high

Forever reigns, forever nigh

False prophets fall, temples shake

Truth no longer to forsake

From death to life, he’s come back home

To claim his crown, to call us own
