9/11 hit and They knew just what they had to do. they walked in and talked with that recruiter one day after school. It wasn’t the navy, it wasn’t the Air Force , it wasn’t the army green, they picked up that pin and signed up for the United States Marines.
Two of the prettiest boys that you’ve ever seen before. their mama’s kissed their heads and said remember what you’re fighting for.
They shook hands made that pact said they both make it out alive. They went in blazing glory. I made it out, but he didn’t survive.
