A202 Blues
Verse 1
Down in the plant where the chillers hum,
Number Three was ready, but it wouldn’t run.
Control power dropped, then came back hot,
ComfortLink said, “Nope, I don’t think not.”
Navigator glowing in that green LCD,
Said, “Something ain’t right in front of me.”
Pump relay’s off, but the contacts are true,
Now I’m standing there singing the A202 blues.
Chorus
A202, what you trying to prove?
Cooler pump interlock got nothing to lose.
Closed while the relay’s off, got me chasing ghosts,
From TB5 to the J7 post.
Oh, A202, you dirty little clue,
You had me pulling wires just to get back through.
Verse 2
Pulled TB5, terminal two,
Thought I had the answer, thought the fault was through.
Then number five got lifted too,
But that same old alarm came rolling through.
Killed all the boards, let ’em sit for three,
Brought back power to Chiller Three.
But there it was, staring back at me,
Same old code on the LCD.
Chorus
A202, what you trying to prove?
Cooler pump interlock got nothing to lose.
Closed while the relay’s off, got me chasing ghosts,
From TB5 to the J7 post.
Oh, A202, you dirty little clue,
You had me pulling wires just to get back through.
Verse 3
J6 said open, J7 said no,
Every time I plugged it in, that alarm would show.
RIB relay blinking like it knew the crime,
IFM flow switch looking guilty the whole damn time.
Meter said one-point-one-two K,
Not closed, not open, just enough to betray.
A dry contact ain’t supposed to leak,
But that chiller board heard it loud and clean.
Chorus
A202, what you trying to prove?
Cooler pump interlock got nothing to lose.
Closed while the relay’s off, got me chasing ghosts,
From TB5 to the J7 post.
Oh, A202, you dirty little clue,
You had me pulling wires just to get back through.
Bridge
Is it a stuck aux?
Is it a wet switch?
Is it BAS giving me another bad glitch?
Is it flow through the barrel from another machine?
Or a ghost in the harness nobody’s seen?
I got my Fluke in hand and my patience thin,
Tracing every wire out and back again.
But somewhere in that circuit, hiding from view,
Is the little false proof that made A202.
Verse 4
Condenser pump kicked, no alarm in sight,
Then the fault came back on another night.
That’s the life when the plant gets mean,
You fix one ghost and find thirteen.
So here’s to the techs in the panel glow,
With zip ties, schematics, and nowhere to go.
When the chiller won’t run and the boss wants cold,
You chase that signal till the truth gets told.
Final Chorus
A202, what you trying to prove?
Cooler pump interlock got nothing to lose.
Closed while the relay’s off, got me chasing ghosts,
From TB5 to the J7 post.
Oh, A202, I’m coming for you,
With a meter, a print, and a fresh set of clues.
Outro
Number Three, don’t you fail me now,
We’ll get you online, some way, somehow.
When the pumps are right and the proof is clean,
You’ll be the coldest damn chiller this deck has seen.
