Heart heavy, weighed down by the anchor,

Thoughts spiral, mind a constant banker.

Cashin' in memories, overdraft emotions,

Life's an ocean, drownin' in slow-motion.

Faded nights, stars fall like teardrops,

Clock ticks loud, each second just a pit stop.

Chain tight, neck cold, but I’m burnin’,

Lessons in the pain, still never learnin’.

Eternal haze, trapped in a maze,

Run through the dark, but I’m lost in the blaze.

Pray for a light, but it flickers, then fades.

Lost my grip, fell off the edge of reason,

Heart iced out, but it’s changin’ with the seasons.

Mirror cracked, reflections lookin’ twisted,

Shadow’s my companion, love's gone, I missed it.

Voices in my head sound louder than the sirens,

Tryna find peace but it’s buried under violence.

Dreams in my pocket, but they feel counterfeit,

Wakin’ up empty, can’t escape the abyss.
