Raindrops

Rain falls softly on my windowpane

Whispering tales of joy, sorrow and pain

Memories deep, shadows that remain

In the drizzle, I find my healing once again

Looking back at what used to be

Echoes of a different me

Wishing for a changed destiny

But knowing it’s my scars that set me free

Every tear, every storm I’ve faced

Built the strength that now I embrace
