Shadows of the Fall

Fading light, the shadows creep in silent despair

A hollow echo, lost in the cold midnight air

Once I had a spark, a fire burning bright

Now I walk these empty streets alone each night

Memories like ghosts, haunting every turn

Lost in the darkness, watching the bridges burn

Can’t find my way back, no but I still try

Wading through the darkness, searching for the sky

Falling deeper, drowning in the pain

Holding on to pieces of what remains

Losing everything, falling through the cracks

Fading into shadows, no turning back

Broken dreams and silent screams

Living in the ashes of my broken dreams

Losing everything, feeling the end

Can’t find the light beyond the bend

But I keep fighting, seeking grace

In this desolate, empty space

Tears fall like rain, washing away the pain

Memories of better days, now just traces in my mind

Trying to find a reason, trying to hold on

But in this darkness, hope feels gone

Maybe someday I’ll find my way

Out of this night, into a new day
