Since Day One

In the dark, You were my morning light,

In the battle, You taught me how to fight.

Every scar became a testimony,

Of how You stayed and rescued me.

You whispered hope into my fear,

When no one else would dare come near.

You wrote a path beneath my feet,

And I walk it now so faithfully.

Since day one, You’ve been by my side,
