The battle

When the darkness tries to prove,

That my faith can’t carry through,

I’ll stand strong, I’ll stand tall,

In the light, I won’t fall.

Every battle’s been a struggle,

But I cling to my shield,

With each prayer, I find my strength,

In the promise He revealed.

I see the soldiers marching,

In the name of love they fight,

Together we’ll charge forward,

Into the holy light

I fight for God's Army, a legion,

It’s what I get for believing,

Praise Jesus for what He did on the cross,

All our sins forgiven and forgot.

We wear His armor, true and bright,

In this kingdom built on grace,

Through the storms, we carry on,

With faith our saving place.

Each voice a mighty thunder,

Each heart a beacon strong,

Guided by His endless love,

We’ll always right the wrong

I fight for God's Army, a legion,
