Waves crash cold against the jagged stone,

Wind cuts sharp, we're walking here alone.

Your eyes reflect the grey above the sea,

A quiet storm that's pulling out of me.

If the tide could carry words we never say,

I'd let it take them far, far away.

On this winter coast, we stand and break,
