Living for the Light

Woke up with a mission, grace on my plate,

Faith like a mountain, can't shake, can't break.

Heart full of scripture, my soul marinate,

In the Word, stay sharp, like a sword, cut the hate.

Chains on my past, but they snap, they gone,

Walking with the King, every step feels strong.

The road ain't easy, but the love lifelong,

Living for the Light, that's my victory song.

Hands to the sky, my soul ignites,

Every dark corner, He shines so bright.

Living for the Light, living for the King,

Every step I take, every song I sing.

Living for the Light, where the angels ring,

His love is my armor, my everything.

Dust off my shoulders, leave the sin in the dirt,

New creation walking, redeemed, rebirthed.

Armor of God on me, devil can't flirt,

Temptation knocking, but my soul don't divert.

I see the lost, the hurt, the pain they hold,

Point to the Savior, His grace pure gold.

Blood on the cross, the greatest story told,

Living for the Light, let His truth unfold.
