Dark nights haunt me, shadows in the trench

Memories of combat, adrenaline in a wrench

Ghosts from the battlefield, living in my periphery

Old soldiers' voices, a never-ending hum Dust in the wind, thoughts scattered in the breeze

Fighting PTSD, can't find any ease

Marchin' through memories, can't escape the scars

Rubber bullets street-side, flashbacks real loud

Came back home, but I'm lost in the crowd
