I see wolves in the distance

That keep trying to get me

Howling my mistakes, faults and all of my insecurities

Tempting me to believe that I could never be

more than the broken man inside of me

Lord I know my shortcomings

Didn't catch you by surprise

In fact you knew everything

Before I ever open my eyes for the first time

But I get stuck on rewind

Failures recirculating in my mind

Losing time

looking back

With no focus on where you got me at

On how you changed my life

JESUS MY JESUS I'M GIVING YOU THIS FIGHT

I'm too weak to walk it alone

Down on my knees in front of Your throne

Giving you these thoughts and every mistake

AND ALL OF MY WRONGS

Cause You and You alone

Have the power to cleanse me

Open my heart that my eyes may see

Everything new You're doing for me

Help me to know that Your love is all I need

The wolves are getting closer

And I won't run anymore

Turned to stand My ground

Cause this fight isn't mine

He can do the impossible

Without even trying

I see heavens army surrounding me

By the light of His glory

This is my story

Not by might

Not by power

But with the spirit of the Lord

Crushing my enemies with a swipe of His sword

Heavenly protection

Cause Jesus is with me

Lifting me outta the valley

Filled with lies, anger, hurt and years of deceit

This is the end of the enemy controlling me
