Burning daylight, working through the night

No time to breathe, just barely making right

Sweat on my brow, dirt on my hands

Same old grind, noone understands

Chasing pennies, losing my sleep

Every day’s a struggle, digging deep

Tired of trying, feeling so frail

Caught in this furnace, caught in this jail

Just want some peace, want a little grace

But all I get is this tired face

Working like a dog, just to get by

Overtaxed and worn, no tears to cry

Getting nothing back, it’s a losing game

Feeling so burned out, tired of the same

Counting my hours, sinking low

Dreams fading fast, got nowhere to go

Stuck in this cycle, feeling so cold

Taking all I got, losing my soul

One day I’ll leave this behind
