Making My Mark in a World of Doubt

Out here on the dusty roads, chasing that old dream

Heart full of fire, but sometimes I just wanna scream

Started from the bottom, dirt under my nails

Every doubter’s voice echoed, said I’d fail

Wore my scars like medals, made my money grow

Proving all the haters wrong, got a long way to go

But deep inside, I feel the weight of the night

Silent battles, fighting to find my light

Still I ride, with hope tucked in my pocket

All about my money, trying to drown out the pain

Struggling with shadows, in a world that’s so vain
