I don’t want to leave my room.

My thoughts are a bit too heavy today.

Why do they get to feel sunny

While I stay here, stuck in the grey?

The mirror reflects a face I don’t know,

Nothing feels right, I just wanna go

To a place where none can find me.

The war that rages on in my mind.

I count the hours on the clock,

Each tick feels like a chain.

I try to find a spark of hope,

But all I feel is pain.

I wish I could share this burden,

But the words slip away like sand.

They think I’m lost in my silence,

But I’m just trying to make a stand.
