I thought you were a blessing

Instead I paid the price

You were just another lesson.

To you I was a friend

I saw the best in you

I wanted to see you succeed.

i called you my best friend

And you pretended to be.

But then the mask fell off.

Revealing the enemy.

I looked past all your flaws

And all your ugly parts

I gave you the broken pieces

And all the love left in my heart.
