Opinions (Like Bums)

Everybody’s got one, yeah, it’s a fact of life

They’re poppin’ up everywhere, just like dandelions

Some are loud and proud, some are kept discreet

But either way, you’re gonna catch a whiff of their… beliefs

Opinions are like bums, they’re out there in the breeze

Some are polished nice, some could use Febreze

You can dress ‘em up, you can keep ‘em hid

But everyone’s got one, so don’t throw a fit

Some like ‘em shiny, some like ‘em bold

Some are just a little too out of control

Everybody’s flauntin’ ‘em like they’re gold or gems

But just ‘cause you got one, don’t mean I wanna see it again

Opinions are like bums, they come in every shape

Some you hold tight, some you let escape

You can dress ‘em up, try to make ‘em sweet

But everyone’s got one, so please take a seat

Oh, we all think we’re right, every single one

Parade ‘em out like it’s all in good fun

But some of y’all could learn to keep ‘em sealed

‘Cause not every view is a battlefield

Opinions are like bums, yeah, they’re here to stay

Some smell of roses, others… not quite that way

Dress ‘em up nice, or keep ‘em at bay

But everyone’s got one, that’s all I can say

So next time you’re tempted to bare what’s within

Remember your opinion might smell like last week’s bin

Everyone’s got ‘em, don’t make such a scene

After all, we’ve all got our own… well, you know what I mean
