Shadow and Light

A voice in the dark, it calls my name

A whisper of fire, a shadow of pain

The past still lingers, its claws in deep

A war inside me that I cannot keep…..

One step forward, two steps lost

The line is blurred, the wires crossed

Light and darkness twist and turn,

One will fade and the other burn…….
