Woke up with a memory I swear I never made,

Blank pages in my story, yeah, they’re always getting erased.

Blue sparks in my fingers, thoughts twisting in my head,

Every secret that I touch becomes a truth I start to dread.

Grew up on Vryn but the world felt small,

’Til the Guildpact called and I answered it all.

Now I’m running from myself through a thousand planes,

Trying to outthink all this psychic pain.

And every mind I break, I feel another crack in mine,

I never meant to be a weapon walking out of time.

’Cause I’m a mindstorm runaway—

Lost in illusions that I made.

I see the future in a flash and then it fades away.

I’m the telepath you can’t outrun,

The boy who burns brighter than the sun.

But I can’t escape the truth:

Yeah, I’m the one I’m hiding from.

Joined the Gatewatch thinking I could make things right,

But every battle that we’re fighting pulls me further from the light.

Tried to stop the Eldrazi, got thrown into the sea,

Washed up on Ixalan with no clue that I was me.

But she found me—Vraska, the pirate queen,

Told me I was more than the visions in my dreams.

We painted all our fears on a ship’s worn mast,

But every good memory slips too fast.

And when the Multiverse is screaming out for something strong,

I’m terrified the hero they want might be wrong.

I’m just a mindstorm runaway—

Lost in illusions that I made.

Every truth I dig up cuts me like a blade.

I’m the telepath you can’t outplay,

A ghost in blue who can’t stay away,

From a war inside my head

That grows louder every day.

I don’t want to be the prodigy

Who rewrites everyone’s history.

I just want to know who I’m supposed to be

When all the lies fall down.

When every spell I cast explodes,

I’m left with fractures no one knows.

But maybe somewhere in the undertow,

I’ll find solid ground.

Still chasing all the parts I’ve lost along the way.

But if I stand my ground today,

Maybe I can change my fate.
