Verse 1)
In the middle of a storm, the disciples were scared,
Waves crashing high, with no hope to spare.
Then through the dark, they saw a light,
A figure approaching, shining so bright.
They thought it was a ghost, but Jesus spoke clear,
"Don’t be afraid, for I am here."
With each step He took, the water stayed still,
The storm couldn't touch Him, He came with His will.
(Chorus)
He walked on the waves, through the storm’s roar,
Faith in His steps, we’ll fear no more.
No power can stop Him, no wave can sway,
Jesus walks on the water, leading the way.
(Verse 2)
Peter called out, “Lord, if it’s You,
Tell me to come, and I will too.”
Jesus said, “Come, step out of the boat,”
With faith in his heart, Peter began to float.
His feet touched the water, as He walked in trust,
But fear took hold, and down he rushed.
“Save me, Lord!” Peter cried from the deep,
And Jesus reached out, lifting him from the sea.
(Chorus)
He walked on the waves, through the storm’s roar,
Faith in His steps, we’ll fear no more.
No power can stop Him, no wave can sway,
Jesus walks on the water, leading the way.
(Verse 3)
Back in the boat, they all knelt down,
Worshipped the Savior, the King with the crown.
The wind grew calm, the sea was still,
His power and love, beyond our will.
With one command, the storm was gone,
Jesus, our Savior, forever lives on.
The disciples knew, their faith had grown,
That with Him, no fear would ever be shown.
(Chorus)
He walked on the waves, through the storm’s roar,
Faith in His steps, we’ll fear no more.
No power can stop Him, no wave can sway,
Jesus walks on the water, leading the way.
