Merry Christmas (To Everyone)

Well it’s my favorite time of the year

Everyone’s filled with Christmas cheer

It’s so easy to show your happy face

While sipping hot cocoa by the fireplace

We trim the tree with bulbs and lights

While the radio is playing Silent Night

The smell of cookies baking in the oven

I could sit and eat them by the dozen

It’s time to set the table, make it look nice

Kids trying to sneak a cookie, quiet as mice

Time for turkey and dressing with the family

We’re all gonna eat till we’re full as can be

Now everyone’s watching football in the den

Hopefully the mountaineers can get a win

It’s time for everyone to go with sweet sorrow

I’m not cleaning up the mess until tomorrow
