Burning Shadows

Darkness whispers, shadows creep deep within

But I stand tall, I won't let the fight begin

Echoes of my fears, they try to hold me down

But I ignite a spark, turn my pain around

Twisted thoughts, they try to sink my soul

But I rise like fire, I regain control

No more shadows, no more despair

I’ll face the demons, I’ll tear through the air

Burning bridges, I burn the past away

Tonight, I fight to see the break of day

I’ll tear off their heads and drown them in fire

The darkness frightens but I rise higher

No fear can hold me, I’ll break the chains

Inner demons, drown in flames

Fiery resolve, I won’t back down

Stand my ground, heavy is the crown

Fight the darkness with all my might

Chasing dawn, I claim my light

Victory’s mine, the shadows flee
