Smoke curls slow while my thoughts turn cinematic

Got whole worlds in my mind, got the cosmos in my head,  

Dreams driftin' past like the ash from the end

Weight on my chest but the clouds keep it light,  

Questions in the haze, I just float through the night,  

Thoughts start to settle and the smoke it just climbs,  

It does its own thing, like the flow within life.

Breathe in slow, let the moment unfold,  

No need to chase what you already know

Lessons in stillness, I move with the breeze,  

A leaf in the stream, no need to appease.

Seasons shift, but the roots still remain,  

Cycles keep turning, it’s all part of the game,  

I let go, drift with the ebb and the flow,  

Who I am now,

just a whisper,

a glow.

But you're still in the water, just along for the ride.
