Moving on to number 7.
We have the Walt Disney Home Entertainment logo. As mentioned in Roxie Entertainment’s video. This logo scares me, because of the absent appearance of the fanfare.
Well, it’s kind of the same case. I’ll show you the logo, but you may want to turn down the volume because it’s going to get loud!
However the version that really gives me the creeps is the alternate theme one, because it’s unexpected. I’ll show it to you.
Oh, come on. I’d prefer the original theme. I mean, for gripes sake. Can’t we just have the original theme?
Anyways, to make even worse, there is a variant that takes place from live-action movies, which takes place, a black background, just like this. And to make this even more worse, one of them has a alternate theme from The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. So yeah, this logo definitely gave me a spook. Yikes!
The top 10 Scariest logos from my childhood.
I used to hide from them,
I’ll describe them to you now.
Number 6, we have the THX Tex: Moo Can logo, the Monsters, Inc. variant. Well, I’m gonna just show you this logo to see why it’s scary, and then I’ll describe it to you why I find it scary after I show you this logo. Here it is!
Okay, so the first thing I noticed when the THX logo starts is the THX logo starts on a black background. And then he actually flies down
and, you know, he’s just kind of cute, pulls the moo can upside down, then goes “moo”, and then shrugs, pulls the cord out the hatch. How is that possible? And then there’s a bunch of moos and then moo the deep note, then the logo shakes and shutters, Tex is frightened, runs away, pulls the THX logo, then it pulls out “The best sound, the best picture, you’re watching a THX certified feature.” With one last cow moo, it’s very ominous, ugh.
And not to mention that the cows replaced the deep note. Yikes!
And now take my hand,
for you are now entering my childhood nightmare zone!
Number 5, we have the Big Idea logo from 2002 to 2015. I’ll tell you why this logo scares me right after I show you it.
The main reason why this logo scares me is you know, Bob’s face trying to get out of the D.
Here it is!
So the main reasons why it scares me is because Bob is trying to get through the D. That was creepy.
Number 4.
The Sony Computer Entertainment logo
from PlayStation 2.
Number 3.
The Walt Disney blue modified format screen.
See, nothing. It’s just silent, it just comes on and then it just fades away as quickly as possible. Yikes!
Number 2.
Walt Disney Feature Presentation logo.
It mainly helps with Buena Vista.
1, it starts on a gold background instead of the actual film reel background. 2, the music is different. 3, it’s seen before a movie, not before a trailer, that part can let it slide.
And another part that scares me is
all of the sudden the announcer is.
There’s the logo, and he goes, “And now, our feature presentation.”
Dishonorable Mentions:
The Sony Wonder logo.
The logo is nice and soft until it gets loud.
