Back from the shadows, where darkness dripped

Stories of loss in my mind I keep

Five brave souls, lost in the night

Three trucks, hope riding on the road

Then the blast, heavy and cold

First the RPG, fire in the sky

Truck flips, echoing goodbye

Middle and back, chaos unfurled

Brothers fallen in a brutal world

Left standing, scars and tears

Haunted by the fallen fears

Hearts forever marked and scarred

Fighting on, fighting hard

Come back home, the weight of war

Stories etched in my core

Brothers and sisters in the line of fire

Their sacrifice, still haunts my dreams.

their fight, their name

In our hearts, they remain

A soldier's vow, forever true

To honor all they’d do

Years have passed, but I still hear

Their voices, crystal clear

Left side scarred, partly paralyzed

But brave beyond all disguise

Living with the pain, carrying the stain

In my fight, I won’t refrain

For those who fell, I stand tall

To tell their stories to us all

Through the pain, through the night

Their courage shines, a guiding light

In my spirit, I carry their flame

Forever etched, forever the same

Now I live, forever changed

Still fighting, though rearranged

For my fallen brothers and sisters, I vow
