Pizza, Coffee & You
Verse 1
Started with a swipe on a random night,
Didn’t think much, just thought I’d say hi.
I wasn’t looking for a story to tell,
But somehow everything worked out well.
First date, pizza at Chico’s place,
Nervous smiles and a familiar face.
Then coffee by the beach, waves rolling through,
That’s when I started noticing you.
Chorus
Who would’ve thought a slice of pizza and coffee by the sea,
Would turn into one of my favourite memories?
Just two strangers talking as the sun went down,
With nowhere to be and no one around.
Funny how life can change so fast,
When you least expect a moment to last.
One random swipe, one random day,
And somehow you stayed.
Verse 2
We talked about life and where we’d been,
The things we’d lost, the things we’d seen.
No pressure, no pretending to be somebody new,
Just me being me and you being you.
Then the drives got longer, the talks got deeper,
The days got brighter and the laughs got easier.
It’s funny looking back now and seeing where it began,
Because I never thought this was part of the plan.
Bridge
Different stories, different roads,
Yet somehow we ended up in the same place.
The things we went through before we met
Only made us understand each other better.
Final Chorus
Who would’ve thought a slice of pizza and coffee by the sea,
Would turn into one of my favourite memories?
From Chico’s to the beach, from strangers to this,
Building a story I never want to miss.
Funny how life can surprise you that way,
Turning an ordinary night into something you’ll never forget.
