In the shadows of my mind, I walk alone,

Lost in echoes of friends I’ve known.

Fading faces in the mist, they drift away,

While I’m still searching for a brighter day.

Once I had dreams that reached for the sky,

Now all I see are clouds passing by.

Broken promises and words unsaid,

Haunt me deeply, fill me with dread.
