Fishing in The Sky

On Maple Point Road, the winds did cry

Scotty left us on a May blue sky in the living room

By the river walk where the waters flowed

Didn’t know it was our last date we’d go on

Now Scott is fishing in the sky so high

Casting his line where angels fly

Keith’s still here, but his boat feels bare

He looks to the heavens and feels him there

Keith and Scott with their boats in tow

Drinking a beer where the fish glow

Two brothers in spirit tied by streams

But now one’s chasing celestial dreams

We held him close, but the time it came

But now the sky knows Scotty’s name
