The Boy She Will Always Love

Oh, the tears fall like rain, but her heart can't complain

A young mother's love, pure as the morning sun

A story of grace, of loss, and love

Bound by the earth, and the heavens above

She was just a girl, barely out of her teens

Holdin' her baby, in her arms, tender and clean

First little boy, best of friends

Growing up wild, where the tall trees bend

He loved climbing high, touching the sky

With a chainsaw roar and a gleam in his eye

Smell of wood chips, gasoline scent

He spoke to the trees...............

Oh, his touch was a song, a song of the land

He was her heart, her joy, her very own

Through every dawn, through every day

He loved his girls, with a love so strong

And oh, how she loved that boy, her pride and joy

His laughing eyes and his fearless cry

He grew up with the earth. He was heaven’s own

But one day, Jesus called him home

She’s teary-eyed on her knees today

His memory, like a sacred song

He was close to the ground, where the wildflowers grow

Teaching his daughters what he loved most to know

A whisper in the wind, a secret shared

A love so deep, beyond compare

He loved his family, and he loved the land

With calloused hands, he made a stand

But Heaven’s call, it came to call
