Quicksand

I feel like my life is going nowhere like a boat that’s with no oars….

On a comb see that won’t push you along anymore…

I feel like a stick in the mud!!!

Like a rock sinking deeper in this depthless pond!!!

On the outside, I seem like I’m fine!!

But on the inside, I’m battered, broken and bruised…

No, thanks to you!!

I’m heartbroken too!!!

I wanna so high like an eagle!!!

No fears or a care in the world!!!

But yet I’m shackled down to this earth!!!

My demons torment me with no remorse!!

The more I think in this pit, the more the darkness grows!!!

I don’t know where to go!!!

The darkness always grows!!!

I’m stuck here in a timeless loop feeling like there’s nothing else that I could do!!!

But I stood up out of the ashes!!

A couple scars to prove I made it through!!!

Emerging out from the quicksand!!!

I am a survivor!!!

I’m sick of being stuck, in the same old rut..

Feeling pitiful and weak!!

I guess as I pull through all the hardships and bruises..

My battle is finally won!!!

I am a survivor!!!!

I survived the quicksand!!!

It strangled me no more….
