Hear now, my soul, how the steep rock is calling,
To leave behind burdens before they start falling.
Deep in the forest, in robes of dark green,
Where time holds no power and nothing is keen.
Here is the altar, the sky is the border,
And every step taken brings beautiful order.
Beneath the high arch, where the strong wind does lead,
I find freedom's solace, a most vital need.
I shake off my worries, like leaves in the stream,
And run on the ridges, living the mountain dream.
A pure inner whisper rings true in my chest:
I have escaped what imprisoned and stressed.
I breathe the raw power that settles the air,
Each single moment, a haven from care.
With pure energy I drink from the source,
And fill up my eyesight with nature's full force.
I feel part of everything, an echo that starts,
A brief sudden flight that forever imparts.
And when I descend, with my feet on the ground,
I carry the mountain, where true strength is found.
This feeling of liberty, eternal and deep,
Is the mother's own lesson the high peaks do keep.
It’s not mere a journey, it's life's true repair:
Nature is home, and the mountains are fair.
