Got a spotlight habit, gotta stay in the feed

Turn a tiny little spark to a five-alarm scene

Everybody catch strays when he’s chasin’ attention

Half the town confused by the latest invention

Every day a new storm rollin’ in

Every day he gotta spin

Boy trippin’ while I’m cool, Hennessy sippin’

He crashin’ out online, got the whole block grinnin’

Talkin’ like a boss, but nobody really listenin’

I stay low-key, stack chips, handle my business

Always need a target, always need a headline

Pointin’ fingers everywhere, never lookin’ inside

I’m just cruisin’ down the boulevard, mindin’ my health

While the loudest cat around keep arguin’ with himself

Got a microphone addiction, gotta say somethin’ loud

Keep the cameras on him, keep him workin’ the crowd

One day he’s the hero, next day he’s the victim

Everybody else wrong, that’s the way he scripts ’em

Throw another jab, watch the comments explode

Then he act surprised when the whole thing snowballs

Meanwhile folks got jobs, got kids, got bills

Ain’t got time for the circus and the daily cheap thrills
