Sweet melody

the world left me broken lost and confused I didn't know where I was going I didn't know what to do but I remember long ago hearing of a savior whose blood flowed like a mighty River Redeeming the broken the heart of a sinner and in desperation alone in my room I cried out to Heaven oh could this be true can Jesus really save me or should I give up but then in the silence I heard a sweet melody a subtle Hallelujah so pure so gentle so powerful it was like nothing I've ever felt before I felt like I was flying full of joy full of Peace oh for the very first time I felt free now I believe the scriptures that say whom the one sets free is free indeed free from my bondage free from my sin free indeed all glory to him now until forever Hallelujah I'll sing reminding me always of my savior's love it's all my heart ever longed for to meet with my savior the king of the world
