Silent Storm in me

I’m drowning in a sea of thoughts,

But no one sees the fight I’ve lost.

It’s quiet, but the weight is loud,

A heavy heart that I can’t crowd out.

Every step feels like a fall,

I scream, but no one hears at all.

The night comes, and it steals my breath,

A shadow dancing close to death.

I’m stuck beneath the skin I wear,

And no one knows that I’m not there.

I try to rise, but I just sink,

These tears are deeper than you think.

Cold and numb, where my heart feels torn.

I reach for help, but the air is thin,

Trying to climb an endless hill.
