Dark alley, neon glow, shadows creep where secrets go

A whisper in the night, faint echoes of a fight

Clock’s ticking, hours slipping, in this smoke-filled room

Hands are trembling, whiskey’s calling, drowning out the gloom

Curtains hiding the sunset, but inside it’s black as coal

Voicemail left unread, stories left untold

Swearing I’ll change when the red moon’s high

But this devil’s got me wondering why

Every inhale, every lonely cry

Brings me closer to the goodbye

Death comes out of nowhere, like a thief in the night

Silent whispers in the dark, stealing my light

In a cab or a syringe, it’s a gamble I play

Fading fast, losing track, of the words I donayed
