The mask has fallen down,

Toxic whispers linger,

In the silence, I drown.

You spun your words like silver threads,

Wove a story in my head,

Promises wrapped in shadows,

Now I see the truth instead.

You pulled me close, then played the game,

With the venom of your bite.

I was blind, couldn't see

The wretched heart in front of me,

But now the haze has cleared away,
