The Hope Within

In the mirror, I see my fears,

Struggling alone, through silent tears.

They call me names, they bring me down,

Lost in a sea, where I drown.

My reflection, a battlefield,

Fighting wounds that never heal.

But there's a flicker, a tiny spark,

A voice inside that says I'm worth,

More than their words, more than their lies,

A hope that refuses to die.

I’m breaking free, from this shadow’s grip,

Finding strength in my cracked lips.

Living for that one who sees,

The real me behind the tease.

Every scar, a story told,

A spirit brave, a heart so bold.

One person’s love, my saving grace,

A light that guides me through this place.

So I’ll stand tall, face the storm,

Hold onto love that keeps me warm.

For in that look, I finally see,

There’s hope for me, there’s freedom free.
