Well, I've had enough of arrogance, I’ve seen it all today,

A flood of hollow words, no truth along the way.

You lean on your own understanding, won't see what’s right,

Searching for answers but closing your eyes so tight.

Oh, you're running from the truth, yeah, hiding from the light,

Fighting against what you already know inside.

There's a book of wisdom here, but you'd rather turn away,

Professing to be wise, becoming foolish every day.

I don't wanna fight, no, this ain't a game to play,

I'm just a praise leader, I'm not here to sway.

If you’ve got questions, the answer’s not me,

Take it to the Author, the One who sets you free.

I’ve been down every rabbit hole, I've fought those lies,

But I found a Savior when I looked to the skies.

The day will come, like a thief in the night,

The heavens shake, all will be made right.

Trust in the Lord, don’t lean on your mind,

There's health in surrender, and peace you can find.

I’m not here to preach or fight till dawn,

I’ve walked my journey, I’ve been reborn.
