Solitary Cage

Shadows dancing on my wall, silent whispers, echoing fall

Trapped within these self-made walls, longing for the freedom call

In the quiet of my mind, a sanctuary I find

But comfort turns to chain, a prison in my brain

Familiar but confined, a solace intertwined

Yearning for the unknown, for seeds of change to be sown

Whispers of the forbidden, echo in my soul

A desire forbidden, yet I can't control

Breaking through the silence, reaching for the light

Glimmers of defiance, fighting through the night

Breaking out of solitude, chasing something new

From the shadows of my mind, to a sky so blue

Fear and hope collide, as I redefine

Who I am inside, crossing every line

Isolation's grip, begins to slip away

A courage born of pain, guiding me today

Once taboo and distant, now the truth I seek

Transforming every scar, into strength I keep

This prison of my making, now a memory distant
