Ignorance

In shadows deep, where silence reigns,  
A seed is sown in fertile plains,  
The whispers of truth, drowned in despair,  
As ignorance blooms, it fills the air.  
With eyes wide shut, we turn away,  
From knowledge bright that seeks to sway,  
A fortress built on walls of pride,  
Where reason falters, and fears reside.  
The chains of doubt, they bind us tight,  
In the absence of wisdom, we lose the fight,  
A world adrift in a sea of lies,  
Where the heart grows cold, and compassion dies.  
Yet a flicker remains, a spark of light,  
In the darkest corners, it shines so bright,  
Awake, arise, let truth be our guide,  
For ignorance falters when knowledge is applied.  
So break the silence, let voices be heard,  
With every question, let wisdom be stirred,  
For in understanding, we break free,  
And in the light of truth, we find unity.  
Ignorance may try to cast its spell,  
But knowledge is power, and we know it well.  
Together we rise, hand in hand,  
To build a future where ignorance can’t stand.
