Rising from the Ashes

Shadows fell heavy, I lost my own reflection

Thrown into the darkness, chasing my resurrection

Once I was whole, vibrant and free

Now I’m facing a storm I couldn’t see

A battle within, a silent plea

Trying to find the light inside of me

Faint whispers of hope, trying to break through

Rising from the ashes, finding what’s true

The mirror's cracked, but I see anew

Rebuilding my soul, step by step, inch by inch

From the darkness, I rise, I fly

Like a phoenix burning bright in the sky

Healing scars, leaving shadows behind

I’m reclaiming my life, one breath at a time

Lost in the fight, feeling so small

But deep inside, I heard the call

To stand tall, to fight, to recall

The strength I hold, the love I scrawl

Wiith every dawn, a brand new start

Mended my wounds, mended my heart

The journey’s long, but I won’t fall apart

I am reborn, a sacred art
