God's Masterpiece

Many lives have broken pieces

And feel they can't be made whole.

But God sees them in a brand new light

He reworks their heart and soul!

What looks hopeless and useless to them,

He sees as a grand Masterpiece!

The broken pieces He fashions together

Gives their inner man a full release.

He takes the broken pieces,

And holds them in His grace.

He turns a broken story,

Into a song of praise.

The hands of the Artist,

Are making the soul new.

He calls them His masterpiece,

Something beautiful and true.

He sees them as treasures of beauty,

A jewel that shines so bright

And when His work is finished

They radiate His Holy Light!

His Spirit anoints with power,

As He breathes in them new life.

Because of what Jesus did for them

When He died for their sin and strife.

God loves to make you His Masterpiece,

So you may spread His love and glory.

He shapes your heart

To find His peace

And share your Heavenly story.

He takes the broken and makes it new,

Fixing the pieces of me and you.

Out of the ashes, He brings the light

Chasing the darkness out of sight.

He is the Potter, we are the clay,

Molding and shaping us day by day.

The hands of the Artist,
