Shadows and Grace

In the silence, I hear my own voice,

Echoes of choices, trapped in a dark space.

Still, I carry this burden, still I seek grace,

In the shadows, I search for a trace.

Mistakes on my shoulders, scars I can't hide,

Lessons in pain, in darkness I confide.

The world’s so cold, it cuts like a knife,

Yet somehow His love keeps my hope alive.

Regret whispers, but I stand tall,

Seeking redemption, trying not to fall.

He chose me amidst the despair,

A beacon of mercy in the midnight air.

No rest for the weary, in this lonely fight,

Basking in shadows, searching for light.

But His love is a fire, burning strong,

Guiding me through right and wrong.

Insecurity’s grip, I’m chained and bound,

But His grace lifts me, turns it around.

Though lust and pain persist, I believe,

In His salvation, I find reprieve.

So I walk this path, scarred but free,

A testament of His mercy to me.

Solitude earned, yet not in vain,

In His love, I find my flame.
