Deep in the pit where the fire burns blue,
I’m a jagged machine with a debt overdue.
My face is a crater, a hollowed-out skull,
My spirit is jagged, my circuits are dull.
I crawled from the bottom of sulfur and grit,
A purple disaster they tried to forget.
The wires are screaming like snakes in my chest,
There is no more peace and there is no more rest.
I gave up my eyes and I gave up my arm,
Now I am the shadow that brings all the harm.
The heat of the magma is warping my steel,
The pain is the only thing left that is real.
I’m the rabbit of ruin, the king of the rust,
Turning the memories of children to dust.
The red light is glowing in sockets of bone,
In the belly of Hades I’m reigning alone.
No mask for my features, no skin for my frame,
Just a withered old monster with no one to blame.
The gears are all grinding, the oil is thick,
The sound of my footsteps is heavy and quick.
You can’t run away from the scent of the char,
I’ll find where you’re hiding, no matter how far.
From the depths of the furnace, I rise to the floor,
Withered and broken, but ready for war.
